Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Padeland (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Club”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to our website (padelandaz.com), our installed web app (PWA), our member check-in system, and the in-club experience at 1 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85225.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the club, book your courts, and keep you in the loop.
- Identity & contact — first name, last name, email, mobile phone number, and date of birth when you join, book, or register for an event.
- Membership & booking data — membership tier, court reservations, clinic and league sign-ups, event RSVPs, and open-play waitlist entries.
- Payment information — processed through our third-party payment provider (see “Sharing” below). We never store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, approximate location, browser type, and device identifiers collected through standard analytics cookies.
- SMS consent records — a timestamped record of when and where you opted into text messages, including the source form (e.g. website, check-in app) and the exact consent copy shown to you.
2. SMS & Text Messaging (TCPA / A2P 10DLC)
This section governs all text messages we send you and is written to satisfy the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the CTIA A2P 10DLC program requirements.
- Opt-in is always voluntary. You must actively check the SMS consent box on a form before we send any promotional or transactional texts. Consent is never a condition of purchase, membership, or booking.
- What you consent to. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from Padeland about Club Perks, court availability, event invitations, league updates, and promotions.
- Message frequency. Up to approximately 6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out anytime. Reply STOP to any message to cancel all future SMS. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out does not affect your membership, bookings, or account.
- We keep proof of consent. We record the date, time, source form, and consent language for every opt-in, and we honor opt-out requests immediately.
- Carriers are not liable. Padeland, not your mobile carrier, is responsible for the content of messages.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your membership, court bookings, and event registrations.
- To send the SMS messages you opted into (and only those).
- To run the check-in desk, waitlist, and digital membership pass.
- To process payments and issue receipts.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To send non-marketing transactional notices (booking confirmations, reminders, account updates) — these are sent regardless of SMS opt-in status because they relate to a service you requested.
- To improve our services, website, and member experience.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers we rely on to operate the club:
- Court scheduling platform. We sync your name, email, phone, and membership tier with our court-booking provider so you can reserve courts and check in. That provider processes your data under its own privacy policy.
- CRM & text-messaging provider. Your contact details and SMS consent record are stored in our customer relationship and messaging platform, which sends texts on our behalf and helps us manage communications.
- Payment processor. Card data is handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment provider; we receive only a transaction confirmation.
- Service providers. Analytics, email, and hosting tools that help us operate — each under a data-processing agreement and limited to what they need.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your membership or booking relationship is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting, legal, and record-keeping purposes. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained for the duration required by applicable law and our messaging provider's A2P 10DLC obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below); we will honor it unless we are legally required to retain it.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete — request that we delete your personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell your data, but you may opt out of any “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Withdraw SMS consent — reply STOP to any text, or manage preferences in the My Padeland portal.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (California residents).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian may book birthday parties and junior clinics on a child's behalf; in those cases the account holder is the adult. If you believe we have collected a child's data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), restricted internal access, and secure storage with our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data consistent with industry standards.
9. Contact Us
